The Nearness

This fragrance is shaped by that sense of awe and grandeur.

Character: Grand, Majestic and Full-Bodied

The First Light:

It opens with aromatic thyme and lavender, softened by a hint of rose.

The Atmosphere:

The scent then moves into a composed heart of orange flower, orris and cedarwood. The smell is deep, rich, and gives a sense of weight and gravity.

The Afterglow:

As the candle burns, incense rises slowly, anchored by amber, vanilla and patchouli, creating a resonant depth that fills the space without crowding it.

Natural Soy Wax for a Clean Burn

We only use 100% sustainable plant-based soy wax for a clean burn, generous scent-throw, and a gentle, steady flame. 

Our candles are hand-poured in the United Kingdom.

Premium Self-trimming Wicks for a Steady Flame

We use premium self-trimming wicks expertly crafted in Italy from unbleached cotton, interwoven with a fine paper thread.

Each wick carries the RAL Quality Accreditation (Standard GZ 041), a European standard for burn quality, safety, and freedom from harmful substances.

This special design ensures the tip of the wick always bends gently out of the flame, resulting in a clean and stable burn.

We use luxurious fragrances designed especially for candles by expert perfumers based in France and the United Kingdom.

Each scent is especially selected for its resonance with each candle concept, and generously poured to ensure your candle fills a room.

Candle Care

To help your candle burn well and last as long as it should:

  • Allow the candle to burn for at least 3 hours on first light to create an even melt pool across the surface.

  • Burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Trim the wick to 6mm (~0.24in) between each burn.

  • Keep the candle away from drafts to help the flame burn steadily.

  • Stop use when approximately 1cm (0.4in) of wax remains.

This candle has been independently tested by a third party laboratory and complies with all the relevant safety regulations, including:

  • EN 15493:2019 (Fire Safety)
  • EN 15426:2018 (Soot Testing)
  • UK General Product Safety Regulations
