Concept
Pilgrim is inspired by what follows the journey of Pilgrimage– whether it's the familiar return of Umrah or the once-in-a-lifetime homecoming of Hajj. That quiet period when the crowd has dispersed, the garments are folded away, and the heart feels lighter than before.
The scent is deliberately clean and open. Jasmine leads with a fresh, almost cotton-like clarity, softened by vanilla and warm woods beneath. There’s a steadiness to it – something reassuring and familiar - a quiet reference to memories of ihram - the purity of the robes and the sense of renewal that pilgrims often describe on their return. As the scent settles, musk, amber and sandalwood add warmth without heaviness, allowing the scent to remain light, steady and close, like familiar fabric against the skin.
This candle is designed to hold those memories. For evenings of rest after movement. For returning home – inwardly as much as physically – and letting the pace slow on its own terms. Light it when you want to reconnect - with the journey, and with how you felt as it ended.

Each candle is tested to ensure a clean, steady burn and reliable performance in everyday use.
Craft and Materials
We use only plant-based soy wax for a clean, even burn and a gentle, steady flame.
The wicks are made from unbleached cotton with a fine paper thread woven through to help the flame burn evenly. They are manufactured in Italy and finished in Scotland, where they are waxed and shaped to exacting standards.
Each wick carries the RAL Quality Mark (GZ 041), a European standard for burn quality, safety, and freedom from harmful substances. This means the flame burns evenly, produces minimal soot, and behaves reliably over time.
The candle is housed in fully recyclable Italian glass designed specifically for candles.

Candle Care
To help your candle burn well and last as long as it should:
- Trim the wick to 6mm (0.24in) before lighting.
- Allow the candle to burn for at least 3 hours on first light to create an even melt pool across the surface.
- Burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep the candle away from drafts to help the flame burn steadily.
- Stop use when approximately 1cm (0.4in) of wax remains.
